Representatives from Long Harbour, Seven Capital and Interserve as well as consultants and subcontractors of The Lansdowne joined the Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, to celebrate the topping out of the development.
Less than 18 months since the project first broke ground, the roof has been installed and the internal fit out of one of Birmingham's first Build to Rent schemes has begun.
Due for completion in April 2019, the 18 storey scheme will provide quality private rented accommodation in one, two and three bed configurations in addition to parking for 105 cars. Specifically designed for the rental market the building will offer a private lounge, gym, premium bike storage and cultural mixer.
