Our approach has always been market wide - What does this mean? We acquire portfolios ranging in size from £20,000 to £240,000,000. We acquire a diverse variety of tenures within the various use classes. We have also successfully acquired reversionary/short lease portfolios, making us unique in this small market place.
Long Harbour works exclusively with a bespoke ground rent management company. This company directly and indirectly manages all ground rents acquired by Long Harbour and is an industry leading ground rent management company that operates on a transparent and fair basis.
Key to its success is treating leaseholders fairly and in a manner that befits their status, as customers of Long Harbour’s many housebuilding vendors. They use technology to cut through the previously erected barriers between the landlord and tenant relationship, for example offering an online portal providing, inter alia, access to documents and the ability to pay.
In equal measure, the management company employs a wealth of experienced professionals who are able to assist leaseholders and navigate through the complexities of landlord and tenant legislation.

Investors - from reporting to due diligence we ensure that our approach is transparent, consistent and thorough. Minimum commitments for the primary and managed accounts are typically in the region of £75m.
House builders - we deal with most UK house builders, from the large PLCs to the smaller bespoke and boutique developers.
