October 15, 2026

Long Harbour, the real estate investment manager and leader in operational real estate, has appointed Louise Evans as Director of Asset Management, to support the expansion of the firm’s living strategies.

Louise brings over 15 years’ experience in real estate asset management. She joins Long Harbour from Franklin Templeton Investments, where she has spent six years as Head of Asset Management and Co-Portfolio Manager (Director), responsible for the asset management of the firm’s core social infrastructure fund across five real estate sectors and eight European countries.

Before this, Louise spent six years at LaSalle Investment Management as a Senior Asset Manager/Associate Director and then a maternity cover as Head of Alternatives Asset Management, overseeing a £1.4bn portfolio spanning student housing, hotels and healthcare assets, having started her career at JLL. She holds an MSc in Real Estate from Kingston University and a BA in French and Italian from University College London. Louise is a Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

The appointment expands Long Harbour’s asset management capabilities and underlines the firm’s commitment to operational excellence.

In her new role, Louise will lead and scale Long Harbour’s asset management platform, supporting the continued growth of its Multifamily and Single Family Housing strategies, driving portfolio performance and identifying new commercial opportunities across the firm’s living sectors. The appointment follows ongoing expansion in Long Harbour’s UK residential business, with its latest single family housing fund having recently raised £100m from the National Housing Bank.

Louise Evans, Director of Asset Management at Long Harbour, said: “The UK living sector is at a really exciting stage in its evolution. There is a significant opportunity to bring greater scale and sophistication to the way residential assets are managed, while never losing sight of the people who live in them. What attracted me to Long Harbour is its combination of data, operational expertise and an openness to doing things differently. I’m looking forward to building on that platform and helping shape the next phase of growth.”

James Aumonier, Chief Operating Officer at Long Harbour, said: “We drive outperformance through an intricate understanding of our assets and the people who live in them, which is why we take a “data first” approach built on proprietary technology. We are scaling our existing strategies, adding new ones and, in time, looking to international markets. Louise’s pan-European experience will help us sharpen our processes, and I look forward to her working with our business unit leads, investment management team and senior leadership to drive the business forward.”
